Announcing our Black Friday and Small Business Saturday Roll-for-it Sale

Announcing our Black Friday and Small Business Saturday Roll-for-it Sale

It’s that time of year again.

Black Friday, the first “official” day of the holiday shopping season, is in less than one week. We know some of you are making lists, checking out deals, and planning your approach to one of the busiest shopping days of the year, so we wanted to give you a heads-up on what we’re planning for this Friday and Saturday.

We’re having a sale.

I know, that’s not really all that unique. This year, like last year, at Jupiter Games, you will determine your discount. By rolling a die.

On Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, your discount will come down to a die roll.

So, how is this going to work? Well, it’s pretty simple. You bring up the items you’re going to purchase. We give you a D20. You roll it. That number on top? That’s your discount.

This whole roll-a-die-and-get-a-discount thing is per purchase, not per item. You’ll give us the items you wish to purchase, we ring ’em up, you roll your discount and… done. No rerolls. No adding or removing items from the purchase after the discount roll. Want to grab some more stuff? That’s awesome and definitely encouraged, but you’ll need to re-join the line at the back.

Also, no one likes a critical fail, so we’re capping the minimum discount at 5% off. That means for each purchase your discount will be between 5% and 20%.

And now, the fine print:

  • First off, this sale is on all in-stock, purchasable items only so there will be no additional no discounts on event entry.
  • Secondly, there will be no additional discounts applied to preorders and special orders (but the standard 10% off will still apply).
  • Finally, this sale does not apply to the sale of Magic: the Gathering Booster Boxes as our everyday price on these is already discounted by 20% or more off MSRP.

Every faction offers a completely different play experience, from the wormhole-hopping Ghosts of Creuss to the Emirates of Hacan, masters of trade and economics. No two games of Twilight Imperium are ever identical. At the start of each galactic age, the game a board is uniquely and strategically constructed using 51 galaxy tiles that feature everything from lush new planets and supernovas to asteroid fields and gravity rifts. Players are dealt a hand of these tiles and take turns creating the galaxy around Mecatol Rex, the capital planet seated in the center of the board. An ion storm may block your race from progressing through the galaxy while a fortuitously placed gravity rift may protect you from your closest foes.

These Locations can be used that turn and then they go away, but you can also buy them if you think those alternate dimensions will aid your strategy. This box contains:

Death Guard Plague Marines

This kit contains the components necessary to assemble a 7-man squad of Plague Marines. Death Guard Plague Marine Icon Bearer

This kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Plague Marine Icon Bearer. He is armed with a boltgun, and carries a plague knife strapped to his backpack, he also is dragging an Icon of Despair into the fray, one shaped to resemble the symbol of Nurgle (parts of this symbol being delightfully picked out with a skull and a helmet.).

Death Guard Plague Marine Champion

This kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Plague Marine Champion, who can be added to a unit of Plague Marines. Clad in bulging, rusted power armor, he comes with a choice of two variant heads – one helmeted, and one bare (with an unsettlingly large horn growing out of his face…).

Death Guard Biologus Putrifier

This kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Biologus Putrifier. He’s clad in the usual corrupted, rusting armor of the Death Guard, with plenty of the Nurgle symbolism and sinister emerging tentacles you’d expect – but the standout feature is the enormous rack of blight grenades that hangs from his back, covered in a dozen or more plague-filled explosive containers ripe for the picking!

Legend of the Five Rings Living Card Game Core Set

Welcome to the realm of Rokugan: a land of samurai and mystics, mad dragons, and divine beings! Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game is a Living Card Game set in the original setting for the Legend of the Five Rings collectible card game. To play a Living Card Game, players create individual decks of cards from a base game with a fixed set of cards; they can then add supplemental card packs to this game world, with each pack also having a fixed set of cards, in order to vary their game experience. When you do choose to initiate a conflict, you face an array of strategic options and choices. You must choose which characters will participate in the conflict, while carefully ensuring you have enough characters left to defend against your opponent because undefended provinces are easily broken and you’ll lose honor for failing to defend your lands. Finally, you must determine the type and ring used for the conflict. Every conflict must be either military or political, which corresponds to the military and political skills of your characters—only the skill that matches your chosen conflict type is used for this conflict. Along with the type of conflict, you’ll select one of the five rings: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, or Void. As new conflicts erupt across Rokugan, you’ll need to decide which clan has won your loyalty for either the Crab clan, Crane clan, Dragon clan, Lion clan, Phoenix clan, Scorpion clan or Unicorn Clan.

A strange apparatus hangs from his back, ending in a tentacle that grasps an abacus – its beads, upon closer inspection, reveal themselves as skulls.

That’s a Question

Which would you miss more if it ceased to exist: Mountains or Pizza? That’s a question! In this party game, players take on the roles of squirrels climbing a mountain. As they climb, they ask each other questions. Because, you know, that’s just what squirrels do. Why squirrels? That’s a question! On your turn, you choose a player to answer a personal question that you pose from the cards in your hand. Then, everyone else has to guess that players answer. Trickier questions lead to more wrong guesses, which score more points for you!

Cities of Splendor

This expansion introduces four complete expansions to the Splendor base game, each accentuating and highlighting a different aspect of the original game. The Cities replaces the noble tiles with 3 different city tiles (randomly taken from a pool of 14).

  • The City tiles are objectives (in prestige points and/or development cards) and you need to fulfill one of them in order to win.
  • The Trading Posts are special bonuses you earn by acquiring an array of development cards: more prestige points from the 1st noble tile you receive, an extra token when you choose the “Take 2 gem tokens of the same color” action, and so on.
  • The Orient adds three decks of cards, one for each level of development cards. The new cards have special powers like double bonus cards or joker cards which take the color of one of the developments you already own.
  • The Strongholds expansion gives each player three strongholds. When you acquire a new card, you must put a stronghold on a face-up card on the table. You’re now the only player able to purchase/reserve it. You may also move one of your strongholds from one card to another one or remove another player’s stronghold.
