Jupiter Games Spring Epic Painting Competition

Jupiter Games is pleased to announce our Spring Epic Painting Competition!

This competition will be focused on creating the largest, most epic single model that a painter has created.

Novice Event Fee: $10.00
Expert Event Fee: $15.00

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
– Overall Painting
– Basing

Competition Dates:
March 2nd, 2020: Submissions Open
April 30th, 2020: Submissions Close
May 8th, 2020: Winners Announced

All entries must be picked up from Jupiter Games by close of business on May 11th. Jupiter Games will not be responsible for dioramas left after this date.

Store Credit prizes will be awarded to competition winners.

Event Rules:

Winners of Previous 2019 Painting Competitions must enter the Experts Bracket.

Any other persons may enter the Experts Bracket if they so choose.

All entries must be painted by the contestant entering them.

All entries must not have been entered in previous Jupiter Games Painting Competitions

All entries must be received by the end of the entry period – there will be no exceptions.

All entries must be appropriate for public display at Jupiter Games.

Jupiter Games is pleased to announce the results of our Winter Wargaming Diorama Painting Contest.

In third place is William Berry with his inventive and imaginative scene straight from the hive sprawls of Vigilus.

Sara Bohn came in second place with her unique and hilarious Ork Fishing Scene.

And the winner of our Winter Wargaming Diorama Painting Contest is Paul McIntyre with his incredible Crusader standoff.

Jupiter Games Winter Wargaming Model & Diorama Painting Competition

This competition will be focused on creating a small diorama, using a large base provided by Jupiter Games.

Event Fee: $15.00
This fee includes the cost of the diorama base.

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
– Overall Painting
– Diorama Cohesion
– Basing
– Diorama Theme

Competition Dates:
November 1st 2019: Registration Begins
December 20th 2019: All Entries Must be received
December 27th 2019: Winners Announced
December 31st 2019: All dioramas must be picked up from Jupiter Games by close of business that day. Jupiter Games will not be responsible for dioramas left after this date.

MInaitures Madness Model Painting Competition

Join Jupiter Games for a special, one-day-only in-store painting competition!

Event Date: Sunday, September 29th, 2019

Event Time:
This painting competition will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Late entries will be permitted, but participants will not be granted any additional time.

All submissions must be received by 8:00 PM
Judging and announcements will take place at 8:30 PM

Event Fee: $15.00

Event Details:
Each participant will be given 1 pre-primed, new-on-sprue miniature. They will then use the paints and tools that they have brought with them to paint and model the provided miniature to the best of their ability within the time frame allowed.

Each participant will be allowed to bring the following supplies with them for the competition.
– Paint Brushes
– Up to 25 different paints
– The following tools:
Sprue Clippers
Files
Exacto Knives
Magnifying devices
Basing Materials
Glue
Airbrushes and Aerosol Spray Cans will not be permitted.

Store Credit Prizes will be awarded to the top three finalists.

Submissions must be picked up and taken home by the close of business on Sunday, September 29th. Jupiter Games will not be responsible for any models left after the close of business on that day.

Everchosen Painting Contest Results

Jupiter Games is pleased to have had the opportunity to partner with Games Workshop for the first round of their Everchosen Painting Contest. We had many beautifully-painted entries submitted for yesterday’s competition!

Congratulations to Paul McIntyre, who took first place in the Everchosen class with an Abaddon. Photos of his work will be submitted to Games Workshop for the second round of the competition.

Rounding out the Everchosen class were Tommy Finch in second with a Branchwraith and Chris Kourliouros in third with an Ahriman. Suzie del Cano took first place in the Open class with a Stormtalon Gunship.

Thank you to all of the painters who submitted models for the competition, and to everyone who participated in the voting. We look forward to seeing your work again this fall in the next Jupiter Games Painting Competition!
